I find distractions beyond my control at home as the biggest challenge to online teaching. You have no control over a student being on their phone, watching tv, or doing anything else that is not related to learning. A possible solution could be to have a discussion with parents about creating an organized work place for their child to work that would limit distractions. If parents and teachers can work together to limit distractions it could make the online teaching experience better for both the student and teacher.
