Students love the social aspect of peer feedback. The brain is a social organ, and I see in my 7th graders this real need to “connect” with others. By giving peer feedback on a regular basis, I think would be quite helpful and engaging.
jvanderwielenParticipantI explored Whiteboard.fi but I did not like that you had to pay for a subscription. I then explored Padlet. I used this years ago and it was a great way for students to post their end of year video projects so that others can view them. I plan to use Padlet again this year so it was nice to refresh my memory of how to navigate this site.
jvanderwielenParticipantI have used Flip with students in the past. They really enjoy it. You can make the settings so that they cannot see others’ videos (if you are the only one who needs to see it,) or you can set it so that students do not see others’ videos until they post theirs. It is a versatile too that engages students!
jvanderwielenParticipantI think that sharing knowledge and expertise among teachers is so important and absolutely impacts student learning. When teachers are “on the same” page, it supports the entire learning community, and students can feel/experience the connectivity.
