Our school uses Schoology for our LMS. I make a new folder for each week (titled with what material we will cover that week and the dates). Inside each folder is a page (titled by the day, date and material covered for that class). Each “page” has the daily notes (both blank notes and completed) as well as any other assignments and/or resources from that day’s class. This helps students by giving them access to the work they miss while absent. My students know that if they are absent, they need to check schoology for what they missed and grab any papers they need from the dedicated tray in the back of the classroom. This saves me a ton of time by not having to track students down and keep track of their missing work. It also makes the student responsibe for keeping track of his/her missing work; which is a good thing.
