ParticipantWhat part of your live lesson went well? Why?
The part that played clips of live basketball or sport related clips caught the students attention about the sport that we were playing in PE. The skills that we were trying to learn were seen in the highlights and we could stop and talk about how even at the highest level the skills that you need to succeed are still used. What part of your live lesson could go better? It is difficult to monitor students as they work in groups and keeping them on taskIdentify 1-2 areas where you think you can improve. What would you do differently next time?
I would give more time for students to do work independently and do less work together with other students in the class. I would check with the students more often to make sure that they are clear with the assignment and that they are completing the assignmentdrodrigu@37
ParticipantWe use Schoology, as a school corporation and this is where I keep the class syllabus and organize materials by unit and daily work. I post assignments, quizzes, tests for each unit along with any videos that either need to be watched or help with learning the material. When things are due or there are important information that needs to go out, I can post them on the timeline at messages go out to the students about the message.

ParticipantThe biggest problem is the lack of interaction while teaching online. It is so hard to see who is getting what you are talking about and who isn’t.
The chat feature on google meets helps those students that are not comfortable talking in the video by allowing them to ask there questions for the teacher or the group
This has helped me as a teacher at least be able to reach out to students that I have not heard a lot of discussion from and be able to get them involved in the discussiondrodrigu@37
ParticipantI use a printed out calendar so that I can stay organized on things that are going on from school, sports to bills. The calendar is always on my desk and I look at it at least a couple times a day so that I put my mind at ease with what I have going on and what I need to do.
